SarkariJobUpdate.net tracks government recruitment notifications across India and publishes them in one consistent, readable format — so a candidate does not have to check dozens of departmental websites to find out what is open. Our name says what we do: Sarkari job updates, exam alerts and career news, as soon as the recruiting authority announces them.
What we do
Government vacancies are announced as PDF notifications scattered across hundreds of official websites, each with its own layout and its own idea of where to put the last date. We collect those notifications, extract the details that decide whether you can apply — vacancy count, post-wise breakdown, qualification, age limit, application fee, important dates and selection stages — and present them the same way every time, with links to the original PDF and the official application portal.
How notifications are ordered
Listings are sorted by the date the recruiting authority released each notification — not by when we found it. An older notification we discover today does not jump above this week's vacancies, so the top of every list is always the newest announcement.
Where the information comes from
Every listing originates from the official website of the recruiting authority: central ministries, the Staff Selection Commission, the Union and state public service commissions, the Railway Recruitment Boards, public sector banks, defence and paramilitary organisations, public sector undertakings, universities and state departments.
Extraction is partly automated and reviewed before publication, but mistakes are possible and notifications are often amended after release. The official notification always governs — please read it before applying. Our disclaimer sets this out in full.
What we do not do
- We are not a government body and have no role in any recruitment process.
- We do not accept applications and cannot influence a selection.
- We never charge candidates. Application fees are paid only on the official portal, and anyone demanding money in our name is committing fraud.
How the site is funded
The site is free to use and supported by advertising. Ads are clearly separated from listings, and no advertiser can influence which notifications appear or how they are ordered.
Corrections
If you spot an error in a listing, tell us through the contact page and include the page link. Corrections are a priority — an incorrect last date can cost someone an application.
