Privacy Policy
This policy explains what data SarkariJobUpdate.net handles when you visit. In short: we do not ask you to create an account, we do not ask for personal details, and the data that is collected comes from ordinary web serving and from the third-party measurement and advertising described below.
Information we collect
- No account data. There is nothing to sign up for, so we hold no names, email addresses, phone numbers or documents.
- Server logs. Our hosting provider records standard request data — IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamp and referrer — to serve the site and to detect abuse.
- Search terms. What you type into the site search is sent as a URL parameter so results can be returned. It is not tied to an identity.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used — which notifications people open, which pages they arrive on, roughly where they are in the world and what kind of device they read on. It tells us which parts of the site are worth improving. It is not used to identify you.
Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser and receives your IP address, the pages you view on this site, the page that referred you, and your device and browser type. Your full IP address is not stored: Google uses it to derive an approximate location and then discards it. What reaches us is aggregate — counts, countries, device types — so we cannot see who you are from it, and we do not attempt to.
You can prevent it entirely by installing Google's Analytics opt-out browser add-on, by blocking cookies for this site, or by using your browser's tracking protection. The site works exactly the same either way. How Google processes this data is described in How Google uses information from sites that use its services.
Cookies and advertising
This site is supported by advertising. Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads, and its use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visit to this and other sites. Google may use the advertising ID or cookies to personalise those ads.
You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google Ads Settings, and opt out of other vendors at aboutads.info. Blocking cookies in your browser also works; the site remains fully usable without them.
Third parties
Measurement, advertising and hosting are handled by third parties who process data under their own policies. Links to official government portals lead to websites we do not control — their privacy practices are their own.
Children
This site is aimed at candidates eligible for government employment and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect their data.
Your choices
Because we hold no account data, there is normally nothing personal to access or delete. If you believe we hold data about you, write to us through the contact page and we will respond.
Changes
We will update this page if our practices change — for example if a newsletter or a new third-party service is introduced. Material changes will be noted here with a revised date.
