Scheme of Screening Test: MCQ Based  Time: 2 hours  Max. Marks: 400 (100 Questions)  4 Marks for each correct answer.  1 Negative Mark for each incorrect answer.

Syllabus of Screening Test for the Post of Assistant Professor of Practice (T&P):

A. English Language and Comprehension (20%) Vocabulary, Grammar, Sentence structure, Synonyms, Antonyms, Homonyms, Spot the error, Fill in the blanks, Spellings/detecting mis-spelt words, Idioms and phrases, one-word substitution, Improvement of sentences, Active/passive voice of verbs, Conversion into direct/indirect narration, shuffling of sentence parts, Shuffling of sentences in a passage, Cloze passage, Comprehension passage.

B. Logical Reasoning and Quantitative Aptitude, Data Interpretation (25%) Types of Puzzles: Seating arrangements, Visualization-based puzzles, Scheduling problems. Reasoning and General Intelligence: Critical thinking, Problem solving, Emotional intelligence, Social intelligence Quantitative Aptitude: Percentages, Ratio and proportion, Averages and mixtures, Profit loss and discount, Time and work, Mean, Mode, Median, Moment, Quartile. Types of Graphs: Bar graphs, Pie charts, Line graphs, Venn diagrams, Caselets, Combination of multiple graphs.
