No: 46 /GEN/DOP GOVERNMENT OF SIKKIM DEPARTMENT OF PERSONNEL GANGTOK NOTIFICATION Dated: 23/04/2025 The Governor, in supersession of notification no: 157 /Gen/Est dated: 20.8.1988 is pleased to order that every ex-serviceman who has put not.less than six months of continuous service in Armed Forces of the Union of India shall be granted relaxation in upper age limit prescribed for the post or service for which he seeks appointment, in the following maimer: (1) Additional 10 (ten) years for ex-serviceman to the posts or services in which th prescribed upper age limit is 40 (forty) years; . (2) Additional 7 (sev¡n) years for ex- serviceman to the uniformed posts and services like Sikkim Police/IRBn,. Forests, Excise etc to which the prescribed upper age limit is 30 (thirty) years or below. 2. The ex-serviceman willing to avail the rela¢ation in upper age limit should fulfill the following conditions: (1) The mi£imum military service ren¤ered in.¥!:'ffied forc¦s by the ex-serviceman is ' ' .
