NOTIFICATION This is for information to all concerned that the Assam Public Service Commission will hold the Screening Test (OMR Based) and Written Test (Conventional Type) for recruitment to the post of Class-I (Junior Grade) Home Guards in Assam Home Guards Services Under Home & Political Department (Advt. No. 02/2026, Dated Guwahati the 5th May'2026) as per programme given below : PROGRAMME OF SCREENING TEST (OMR BASED) AND WRITTEN TEST (CONVENTIONAL TYPE) Name of Post Date & Day Time Subjects Class-I (Junior Grade) Home Guards in Assam Home Guards Services Under Home & Political Department 04-10-2026 (Sunday) 10:00 AM to 12 Noon General Ability and Intelligence Test (OMR based) (Paper - I) 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM General Studies, Essay & Comprehension (Conventional Type) (Paper - II) No intimation letter to the eligible candidates shall be sent separately by post. The list of candidates shall be uploaded on 23-09-2026 and e-Admission Certificate shall be uploaded on 28-09-2026 in the Commission's official website (www.apsc.nic.in). The candidates shall have to download their own e- Admission Certificate from the aforesaid website. The Commission would like to clarify that the Commission reserves the right to cancel the candidature of any candidate on verification of their application form at any time or stage even after the Screening Test, if it is found that they do not fulfill any of the eligibility criteria/conditions as per terms of the aforementioned advertisement.
