No. GMRCL/HR/RECT/Systems/May-2026/18 Date: 20th May, 2026 RECRUITMENT NOTIFICATION FOR VARIOUS POST OF SYSTEMS ON CONTRACT/ DEPUTATION/POST- SUPERANNUATION BASIS. Gujarat Metro Rail Corporation (GMRC) Limited, a 50:50 Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) jointly owned by Government of India and Government of Gujarat is entrusted with the responsibility of implementation of Ahmedabad Metro Rail Project Phase-I, Phase-II and Surat Phase-I and its Operations & Maintenance. GMRC invites applications from eligible and experienced candidates for the following posts on Contract/Deputation/Post-superannuation basis, for a minimum period of 3 years, extendable upto 5 years based on performance, subject to the standard terms and conditions of the organization.

For post- superannuation basis consolidated pay of Rs. 1,70,000 per month. 1) Required Education Qualification: Graduate engineering in Electrical/ Electrical & Electronics discipline from a Govt. recognized University/Institute. 2) Relevant Work Experience: Candidates should have minimum 10 years of relevant post-qualification experience like planning, preparation of technical specification, administration of contracts, installation, testing, commissioning and statutory approvals of electric Traction/ DC Traction/ HV Power system in railways/metros /other PSUs / private sector. Also preferably be experienced with latest electrical / rolling stock technologies of urban & suburb Rail Systems. 3) Required Experience: a. For applicants working in IDA/CDA scale: Applicants from Government PSUs, Metro Rail Organisation, Railway PSUs, or other PSUs must have 17 years of post- qualification executive experience, out of which relevant experience should be as above. b. Candidates from metro related system works of private industries should have a total 20 years of executive level experience, out of which relevant experience should be as above. d. Candidate applying on post-superannuation basis should have minimum 17 years of post-qualification executive level experience, out of which relevant experience should be as above.
