We are receiving queries from candidates regarding the syllabus of English Language Descriptive Paper in the LIC AAO (Generalist / Specialist) and AE (Civil / Electrical) - 2025 Main Examination, mentioned in the Notification dated 16.08.2025 and the Handouts published. The following clarifications are hereby issued for information of all concerned: The detailed notification for LIC AAO/AE encompasses following components for English Language Descriptive Paper:Communication Skills: Emails, Reports, Situation Analysis & Precis Writing Any type of questions from the above could be asked for the online exam. However, as mentioned in the handout, the sample questions are for the reference and not to be treated as final. Please find below the extract mentioned in the handouts published: "Please note that the types of questions in this handout are only illustrative and not exhaustive. In the actual examination you will find questions of a higher difficulty level on some or all of these types and also questions on the types not mentioned here".
