NOTIFICATION (a) Thesc regulations mnay be called the Stcnographer, Grade I (Gujarati) in the Gujarat Water Resources Development Corporation Limited Rccruitment Regulatíons, 2023. (b) In cxercisc of thc powers conferrcl by thc Appointment to the post of Stenographer, Grade I (Gujarati) in the Gujarat Water Resources Development Corporation Limited, shall be made cither : (a) by temporary transfer on deputation ofa person working on the post of Stenographer, Grade I (Gujarati) in the Government. by dircct sclection, or To be cligible for appointment by direct selection to the post mentioned in regulation-2, a Candidate shall not be less than 21 years of agc and not be more than 3) vears of age; (b) possess a bachelor's degree obtained fronn uny of the Universities or nstitutions, cstablisled or ilcorporated by or under the Cetral or a State Aet in lndia; or any other educational I ot 3 instiuion recopyiscd as such or declared to be deened as a Universiy

under Seetlon 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, I956: or possesses n cquivalent qualification rccogniscd by the Government: (c) Ihnve passed the test of Gujarati Shorthand as prescribed in the Privale sccrctnries (Bnglish and Gujarati Stenographcrs, Grade I), Class |l (in he secreturint and other oiccs) Rccruitment (Examination) Rules,2010 : icld cither by thc Cuiarat Public Service Commission or 5. The candidatc appointcd by direct sclcction shall be on probation for a period of iwo years. The candidate appointed by direct selection shal, during his probation period, be required to pass the qualifying examination for computer knowledge in accordance with the provisions of the Gujarat Civil Services Computer Competency (Training and Examination) Rules. 2006, and also the qualifying cxamination for English Typing as may be prescribed by the Government. The candidate appointcd by direct sclection shall be required to pass an examination in Hindi or Gujarati or both in accordance with the rules prescribcd by the Governmcnt in that behalf. These regulations may be called the Stenographer, Grade I (Gujarati) in the Gujarat Water Resources Development Corporation Limited Recruitment (Amendment) Regulations, 2024. 2. In the Stenographer, Grade I(Gujarati) in the Gujarat Water Resources Development Corporation Limited Recruitment Regulations, 2023, In Rule 3, for Clause (c), the following shall be Substituted, "(c) have passed the test of () Qualifying Examination (Short hand Test) (Elimination Round) and () Mains Examination as prescribed in the Private Secretaries (English and Gujarati Stenographers, Grade I) Class II in the Departments of Secretaries and other Officers (Competitive Examination) Rules 2019; held either by the Gujarat Public Service Commission or by the Gujarat Water Resources Developrment Corporation Limited" By order and in the name of the Gujarat Water Resources Development Corporation Limited.
